The Hotel was purchased by the KenCal Ownership, LLC, at the end of
2005. KenCal (Kennedy Associates) is a hotel asset management
company based in Seattle, Washington. It is a highly conscientious
hotel owner. The Hotel has gone through a $60 million major
renovation and reopen as a new modernist Hotel. Since its reopen, it
has almost always fully occupied by higher-end business travelers and
prosperous families.
The contract has expired on 10/31/2011. The next negotiation session
is scheduled for Wednesday 11/16 & Thursday 11/17 at the Hotel.
